Elections over finally we can have our normal commercials back
Well this election cycle is over finally and it will be nice to NOT see campaign ads throwing mud anymore. It gets to be a headache listening to the same crap everyday when we all know none of them are gonna do anything for anyone but themselves politicians are nothing more that corporate puppets. What does any of this have to do with hats...absolutely nothing. :)

Tip o' my hat to a friend that didn't lose his head during the Mortgage bubble craze.
I gotta tip my hat to those that did not fall for the big sub prime lending craze a couple years ago. I have a good friend that owed only 9 more years on a 30 year mortgage and was approached many times by shady lenders wanting him to re finance up to his rafters and although at the time the bubble had not shown signs of busting yet he always said "you would have to be an idiot to pay your house almost completely off just to re finance and owe all that again especially at his age 57 and close to retirement. NOW boy is he a happy guy while so many others are losing their homes after paying on them for years and then refinancing with some crappy lenders at an adjustable rate falling for the line " oh you can refinance againg to a fixed rate before your house payment adjusts up" he on the other hand now has 1 1/2 years left on that same mortgage and paying off his home will coincide with him retiring. You didn't let dollar signs blur the big picture and that deserves a tip o' the hat to you my friend :)

Midwest windstorm a danger to hat wearers everywhere!
Hold on to your hats there's a big wind storm blowing through today and it looks like it's going to try and take as many hats as possible.
I'm sure there will be plenty of crap to clean up after this one finishes blowing through. If you see a hat blow by. Grab it!!!!

Good one, mate!
Trading changes:
-Added some anti-scam advice to the chat window.
-Increased trading slots to 8 slots per person.
-Added item rarity colors.
-Added the item’s original name to the item description.
-Made most tools tradable.
-Fixed Ellis’ Cap and the Frying Pan not being tradable
And with this we see a sizable upgrade with the trading system, making everything a bit more polished and user friendly. Now I await the people wanting eight hats for an unusual.

Trade Servers.
With a steady loss of idle servers thanks to the ability to idle in an offline bot match, we are seeing a sign of relief in server listings. Or are we?
With the introduction of trading, we are also introduced with a new type of server: trading servers.
The concept is fairly obvious; once joined into a trade server, you are grouped with several bunches of people who will simply do, well, trading. No real gameplay happens here, as the server usually is on a single, never ending map with no goal to achieve. In a sense, it's basically a new form of idle server combined with an item and hat bazaar.
Now I can see the use for trade servers. It could very well be one of the simplest ways to trade between people outside your friend list. However, if given the chance to grow out of control, we could very well see a spike in servers all over the listings, and it'll be the idle server swarm all over again.
Well don't that beat all.
Grab your Wranglers and glowsticks, because this might not stay for long.

High inflation in the trade market.
It seems with the ability to trade recently out, it has also brought along a large sense of greed.
People wanting new hats for two hats, Towers for three. Heck, I've seen people want FOUR hats just for the Procedure Mask alone. And what makes things worse is people will abide to these outrageous demands just for the hope of getting a single item.
Hopefully as time goes by, we will seen more even "prices"; as for the moment, things are really out of control.
A hat for every fancy.
With the large assortment of hats nowadays, one can be sure to find a unique flavor that suits themselves. More so with the additions of Paint and Name Tags.
I ask you now, what is your hat of amusement? Which skull holster tickles your pleasure center?
There is no wrong answer, for as with every hat either short or tall, wide or thin or of an unusual glow, there is someone who can take enjoyment in it.

Hat of the Month: Tyrant's Helm
For the first Hat of the Month, I have chosen Tyrant's Helm to lead the flock.
A sleek, stylish hat with fashionable horns to help add a feeling of threat and danger to the endowed Soldier. When you see this hat, you will know that you're about to be in a world of rocket filled pain.
Hats are the thing that matter.
In the world of Team Fortress 2, one must prepare to fight for their respective color in the hopes of great victory. However, one can't expect to get far without a fine crafted hat.
Hats. Lovely hats. They are the fine cut diamonds of this realm of Red and Blu, each one telling a tale on the quality of life one holds. Either it be the lowly Gibus or the prized Tower, one cannot go without one of these caps to sport on their cold, hat starved craniums.
